Cross-border Digital Policies for Africa - Data Collection survey

Dear Participant,

The Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network (I&JPN) is conducting a regional mapping exercise on the rapidly expanding digital policy environment in Africa. The resulting Internet & Jurisdiction African Regional Status Report will showcase current policy trends, initiatives and actors as well as inform about the regional developments in future editions of the Internet & Jurisdiction Global Status Report, the landmark effort to provide a global mapping of cross-border legal challenges on the Internet.

We would like to ensure the inclusion of your unique expertise, as the Cross-border Digital Policies for Africa report will be based, next to in-depth desk research, on the results of this short online survey and associated interviews with key stakeholders. This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.  There is also the possibility to save and return to unfinished questions before submitting and you will find a button featured on the top right corner of each page.

The survey will close at 11:59pm CEST on Friday, October 7, 2022. Your contributions, which you would be asked to provide in your personal capacity, would be handled strictly confidentially and only used as non-attributed.

You will, however, be duly acknowledged in the Report’s contributors list together with other key stakeholders. Upon closing of the call for input I&JPN and the authoring team will select a contributor from all submissions and enable him/her to participate as a speaker at the IGF at the Internet Governance Forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from November 28 - December 4, 2022.

Anonymized survey results will be shared publicly during a key findings workshop to take place in Q3 2022. Stay tuned for details of this event.

Lastly, thank you in advance for your time and input.  Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact datacollection@internetjurisdiction.net.

Sincerely,

Tracy Sinkamba Faustin

That's all, folks!
